The founders of Farrell & Patel attorneys wanted to make a difference in the lives of those in need. One of the ways they do this is through the legal system, fighting to provide justice to those who have been harmed. They also provide valuable assistance outside of their roles as attorneys by staying involved with charities and organizations committed to helping families in times of need. Since 2009, over $2,000,000.00 has been donated and pledged to charities thanks to the help of Farrell & Patel. Here are some of the organizations the firm proudly supports:
ITS 4 THE KIDS, 5o1C3 FOUNDATION
Ricky Patel founded and established ITS4THEKIDS Foundation to help with children's causes. Three primary areas of focus include the Gracious Hands Orphanage in Haiti, the Nicklaus Children's Hospital in Miami and the Pitch Perfect Program available worldwide for anyone to pitch an idea to help children in need and have their project funded. Our mission is to provide a better quality of life to all children through hands-on assistance. This is accomplished through developing and funding new innovative programs and creating easier access to resources to create a community culture of giving back. We strongly believe this will provide children the opportunity to become healthy and fulfilled adults who could then help others in the community and around the world.
Wes Farrell decided to bring First Tee to Puerto Rico in 2019. First Tee is a youth development organization that enables kids to build the strength of character that empowers them through a lifetime of new challenges. By seamlessly integrating the game of golf with a life skills curriculum, we create active learning experiences that build inner strength, self-confidence, and resilience that kids can carry to everything they do. We’re Building Game Changers through our junior golf programs.

Ricky Patel, Esq established the Pay It Forward Scholarship in order to make a lasting social impact. The scholarship will provide a minimum $20,000.00 a year to law students who have established a social program(s) that benefits those in need. Mr. Patel has always had a strong desire to create an evolving platform for giving back. He realized that establishing a scholarship to foster philanthropic behavior would eventually help to promote the welfare of those in need.
